John Cochrane’s background is in newspapers.
His media and advertising career began at the Noosa News as an advertising Sales Executive before moving through the ranks to advertising Sales Manager and eventually General Manager.
A few years on he was appointed as the Sales Director at the Nambour Chronicle.
Moving to Brisbane John joined the Sunday Sun as their Agency Account Manager, before being head hunted by QLD Newspapers for the same role.
Having fallen in love with creative side of advertising, in his spare time John schooled himself in the art of creative production. Once the time was right, John joined Robert Martin Advertising, Paddington as their Production Manager, where he was mentored by the partners.
With that great grounding, John Cochrane Advertising commenced. Some 20 years on John Cochrane Advertising comprises a team that is dedicated to its clients. Although they have a myriad of different clients, they have become the go to agency for the Caravanning Industry.
John remains heavily involved in the Brisbane Advertising Industry and is never one to stand still – loving the challenge. Hence he frequently attends courses and seminars to keep abreast of current local and overseas trends applicable to the industry he loves.
