Customers are used to accessing their favourite brands through screens, however Amazon Go’s store in Seattle is about to revolutionise how we buy groceries. They are the latest organisation to mix data and digital to improve the customer’s experience.
This move is confirmation that customers still rate the physical and when merged with the digital, it creates a whole and appealing customer experience.
Australian organisations need to have a look to their future and see whether they could adapt to what is on the horizon in terms of digital department stores/shopping malls which could have huge implications for their company structure and/or their sales staff.
